329 Operations Support Specialist

 Location: Wallops Island, VA; onsite

 Clearance: Secret

 Travel: will be requested.

  Tasking:

Site Coordination

  • Work with SCSC to ensure services required (power, communications, security, radiation authorizations) are in place as needed. Coordinate fixes as required.
  • Coordinate test schedules with SCSC, NSWC PHD, NSWCDD, PEO IWS and test asset providers.
  • Maintain awareness of SEWIP test site activities and inform test director as required. Maintain Site personnel schedule and coordinate with NSWCDD and NSWCPHE VAB as gaps or conflicts are identified. Coordinate with Open Storage Secret custodians to request updates to access lists.
  • Maintain electronic records of RF radiation requests at the test site.
  • Maintain electronic records of personnel aloft events at the test site.
  • Maintain electronic records of NASA RF restrictions as provided by SCSC Wallops at the test site.
  • Update site specific procedures as required.
  • Maintain standards and procedures for use by others.
  • Maintain inventory of all NSWCDD equipment, including test equipment, at the site. Perform regular audits of inventory records, book to floor and floor to book.
  • Track calibration status of all test equipment and provide notification when recalibration should be scheduled
    • Data Movement
  • Execute Non-Disclosure Agreements as required to access Raytheon data.
  • Perform steps required to gain access to onsite Raytheon IT systems in order to perform data transfers.
  • Perform Media Transfer Agent functions for transfer of test data to media and validate data transfers completed as requested. Prepare and maintain classified material transmittal requests.
  • Prepare classified material for courier and / or shipment.
  • Courier media up to SECRET classification to and from the SCSC Wallops classified control point.
  • Maintain inventory of classified NSWCDD media up to SECRET at the test site.
  • Prepare and execute data transfers of data test data lower classification systems to higher classification systems.

Shiftwork is requested as:

  • No more than two separate weeks within a quarter to be able maintain operations and execution when high staffing witnessing the site prevents first shift operation or activities to be documented are occurring second shift defined as 1500 – 2300.
  • There is additionally a need for no more than two Saturday per quarter of core hour shifting to support witnessing or documentation of activities. Expectation is that the employee would flex their core work time in the week in question to maintain a 40 hour work week and not add the Saturday as an overtime.

 

Operation Support Specialist

Education/Professional Certifications:

Five (5) years of demonstrated operation/test support experience.

Specialized Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, project, Access and Outlook;

330 Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

SDC is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite cybersecurity team to provide support to our Navy customer.

  • Successful candidate must have five (5) years of experience, IAM Level 2 or higher, and a Top-Secret clearance.

Description:

The successful candidates will serve as a trusted security agent under the Functional Control Assessor (FSCA) providing cybersecurity assessments for non-enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing cybersecurity support to various IPTs throughout the Strategic Systems Program (SSP) system engineering and development lifecycle.

This support also includes occasional travel to customer sites for milestone meetings, audits, and onsite validations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead validator for respective Branch Assessment and Authorization packages
  • Observe and or review test cases, and monitor changes in information systems that might affect the security posture
  • Consult with system ISSEs and system owners regarding incorporation of cybersecurity best practices into system development/ modernization/management efforts
  • Assist with the development of policy documents, processes, and guidance
  • Attend and provide meeting minutes for Support Program Reviews, System Requirement Reviews, and periodic reviews for the purpose of providing security and authorization issue inputs
  • Document the security posture, capabilities, and vulnerabilities against relevant CCIs and draft an executive summary within the SSP RMF ATO packages
  • Understanding of the various SSP Ordinance Documents (OD) and system prioritizations
  • Review and provide comments on program level documents and artifacts

Business Development:

Assist with Business Development activities as required to support SDC’s strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews
