340 Configuration Management Support Specialist

Location: NSWCDD (Dahlgren, VA)

Clearance: Required Secret

Tasking:

  • Prepare and distribute Computer Program Version Requests in ACCESS database for all Aegis/BMD ships/sites and serve as the element POC for Computer Program deliveries.
  • Generate CPCR, SWCR, TOR Reports/Metrics for Engineers for Aegis/Aegis BMD Baselines;
  • Support Change Review Boards (CRBs) and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
  • Assist in OTS, ClearQuest, SCRIBE Reviews/Artifacts (SCs, ICRs, A-Specs, etc.) by retrieving SCs/ICRs for engineers, applying CM processes, entering Technical QIRs into the appropriate database when needed and necessary
  • Coordinate with engineers for new patch files to be installed for ships/sites.
  • Review CCB reports and work with engineers to create Patch File Processor (PFP) Orders and Patch Version Requests to be installed on various Aegis ships and test sites.
  • Track and submit new and current adaptation data versions for Aegis and Aegis BMD to Software Product Management (SPM) to be included in the Build Information Reports (BIR).
  • Track new Aegis source code versions for engineers to be used for data analysis.
  • Review Build Information Reports, Program Delivery receipts to track computer program builds.
  • Attend Delivery Coordination meetings, Build Preparation Meetings, Adaptation Data Tool Suite (ADTS) Release Readiness Reviews, TOR Adjudication Meetings, Combat Systems Alignment Working Group Meetings, Technical Adaptation Data Change Review Board Meetings (T- ADCRB).
  • Adaptation, Data Code Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Detail Design Reviews for the Adaptation Data Tool Suite and review test artifacts.
  • Process transmittal requests for test equipment being shipped in support of events.
  • Perform peer reviews, desk audits, and track adaptation data delivered through the WEB-Based Common Adaptation Tool (WebCAT).
  • Verify and test adaptation data CPCR/TORs for the WebCAT Database.
  • Request and CM Threat and Flight Mission signature and trajectory files;
  • The Contractor shall provide technical editing and associated word and graphics processing using Microsoft (MS) Office tools and MS Access database, MS Publisher, MS Project and Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) in the preparation of technical presentations, technical reports, technical notes, miscellaneous publications, and other document types.

Education/Professional Certifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or
  • An Associate’s degree from an accredited college with one (1) year of demonstrated Configuration Management experience; or five (5) years demonstrated Configuration Management experience.

Specialized Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, project, Access and Outlook;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage configuration control of large software;

Tasking:

  • Track NWAs/Government charge codes and financial expenditures against those codes.
  • Manage gov’t planned labor & non-labor in comparison to actual costs, initiate funding to gov’t and contractor agencies for services & materials, coordinate with BFM for fiscal year close-out and start-up.
  • Monitor status of commitments, obligations, and expenses and ensures budget categories are executed according to plan.
  • Develop and present summary reports, conduct trend analysis, and develop budget projections and spend plans.
  • Research, evaluate and analyze data to make sound business recommendations for project management as required.

  • Must be experienced with ERP.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION:

  • Seven (7) years’ experience designing and developing solutions to address business needs, opportunities, and proposing changes in a SharePoint Environment.

  • The Contractor shall perform content administration. This support shall include site collection creation, top level sites creation, sub-site creation and configuration, security model design and implementation, and permissions management for SharePoint.
  • The Contractor shall maintain the SharePoint architecture and perform site/data migrations from SharePoint.
  • The Contractor shall maintain all SharePoint versions through development in Windows Power Shell Commands, FAST Search, Business Connectivity Services, Client-Side Object Model, Sand box solutions, MS Visio, Excel Services, Access Services, and Silverlight Web parts.
  • The Contractor shall provide technical support for SharePoint Applications (apps) using web part templates.
