Tasking:

  • Use MS Project for developing program plans and tracking program execution including the generation of critical path.
  • Generate weekly status reports, update monthly reporting presentations and respond to administrative data calls.
  • Attend meetings and working groups. Provide meeting minutes and serve as the single point of collection for team information, questions, and action items generated during meetings.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings
  • Provide financial and programmatic assistance for the development of budget planning estimates for Task Planning Sheets (TPS), TPS entry and updates in the NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), cost estimates for Rough Order of Magnitude (ROMs), and impact statements due to reduced allocations.

Location: Dahlgren
Offsite support (at the start) but there are hotseats available

  • Build and manage SharePoint network file-sharing sites, including Dahlgren and Program Office sites.
  • Develop and maintain access controls for all sites under the IWS 2 Service Agreement with the client.
  • Collaborate with the client to establish cost-sharing arrangements for the IWS 2 programs using hosted tools and products.
  • Update and enhance existing SharePoint sites to the latest versions, enabling features such as search and versioning for users.
  • Develop and enforce rule sets and workflows to meet program requirements.
  • Create groups and assign users to the appropriate groups.
  • Install new applications and provide training on new or updated SharePoint sites, features, and enhancements.

324 Operations Support Specialist

Location: NSWCDD (Dahlgren, VA.) Base on-site 100%

Clearance: Secret-minimum

Tasking

  • Coordinate, facilitate, and track the movement of materials to include taking and retrieving from shipping. Record all such material movements in RTC.
  • Contractor shall assist in the preparation of documentation required to support the purchase of materials and equipment
  • Perform periodic inventories no less than annually of classified materials
  • Support activities requiring adherence to the Navy Modernization Process to include meeting major milestones required for successful Regional Maintenance and Modernization Coordination Office (RMMCO) check-in and check outs to support the installation, modification and removal of equipment that is installed aboard Navy Vessels and land Based Test Sites.
  • Coordinate with various RMMCO Offices located throughout the Navy include but not limited to Bahrain, Guam, Mid-Atlantic, Mid Pacific, Northeast, Northwest, Sasebo, Southeast, Southwest and Yokosuka.
  • Maintain and update program calendars and schedules. Examples include planned test events, reviews, technical meetings, and computer program deliveries.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials to including preparation of documents to facilitate the shipment and receipt of materials and media to support system installs and removals both at NSWCDD laboratories and test sites and at external test sites.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation required to support the purchase of materials and equipment.
  • Anticipate local travel to Fredericksburg

Qualifications

 Education/Professional Certifications:

  • Five (5) years of demonstrated operation/test support experience.

Specialized Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, project, Access and Outlook;
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate test efforts aboard ship and/or at land-based test facilities;
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate the shipping, receiving and tracking of test equipment;
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate required support for test sites and laboratory operations, schedule riggers, contractors, and other support personnel to accomplish tasking;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain General Operating Procedures for land-based test sites to assure cover to all current and planned future users; – Demonstrated ability to tailor site and system-specific safety procedures for land-based test site;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and lead the execution of integrating the land-based test sites into the Dahlgren Digital Proving Ground;
  • Demonstrated ability to support Test Site and Laboratory Operations to include tracking system calibration, property/inventory management, and DRMO of excess equipment;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain program calendars and schedules, to include planned test events, reviews, technical meetings, and computer program deliveries;
  • Demonstrated ability assisting in the preparation of documentation required to support the purchase of materials and/or equipment;
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Government SMEs in the development of ROMs and Task Planning Sheets;

319 Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst

SDC is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite cybersecurity team to provide support to our Navy customer.

  • Successful candidate must have five (5) years of experience, IAM Level 2 or higher, and a Top-Secret clearance.
  • Home-based location is at NSWCDD (Dahlgren, VA) Base, currently offering hybrid/telework flexibility.

Requirements:

  • 5 yr Cybersecurity exp
  • IAM level 2 or 3 certification: CISSP or CISM or CASP or CAP
  • Navy experience
  • NQV certification-desired but not required
  • Security Clearance: Minimum – Top Secret

Description:

  • The successful candidates will serve as a trusted security agent under the Functional Control Assessor (FSCA) providing cybersecurity assessments for non-enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will also serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing cybersecurity support to various IPTs throughout the Strategic Systems Program (SSP) system engineering and development lifecycle.
  • This support also includes occasional travel to customer sites for milestone meetings, audits, and onsite validations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead validator for respective Branch Assessment and Authorization packages
  • Observe and or review test cases, and monitor changes in information systems that might affect the security posture
  • Consult with system ISSEs and system owners regarding incorporation of cybersecurity best practices into system development/ modernization/management efforts
  • Assist with the development of policy documents, processes, and guidance
  • Attend and provide meeting minutes for Support Program Reviews, System Requirement Reviews, and periodic reviews for the purpose of providing security and authorization issue inputs
  • Document the security posture, capabilities, and vulnerabilities against relevant CCIs and draft an executive summary within the SSP RMF ATO packages
  • Understanding of the various SSP Ordinance Documents (OD) and system prioritizations
  • Review and provide comments on program level documents and artifacts

Business Development:

  • Assist with Business Development activities as required to support SDC’s strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline;
  • or four (4) years of a demonstrated and established knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to specific technical disciplines of the SOW.
  • 10 years of experience as a software developer creating or maintaining operating systems, communications software, database packages, compilers, assemblers or utility programs for software applications.
