Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline and two (2) years’ technical experience working with Oracle Enterprise component products including Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Oracle Apex, Ad Hoc reporting tools, Developer tools, Oracle WebLogic, and Oracle Enterprise Database tools. OR Six (6) years’ experience working with Oracle Enterprise component products including Oracle Application Development Framework, Ad Hoc reporting tools, Developer tools, Oracle WebLogic, and Oracle Enterprise Database tools.
• Two (2) years’ experience with Java/J2EE application full life cycle development experience including specifying, building and deploying on Application servers and Web Services applications.
• Two (2) years’ experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1 or higher, Oracle ERP applications development with an emphasis on workflows, forms, interfaces and other technical functions.
• Two (2) years’ experience in: Oracle Forms (6i and higher), Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle Reports (6i and higher), Oracle Workflow Builder, Oracle Financial Analyzer, PL/ SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, API’s; XML Publisher; web services.
• One (1) year of experience with CM business process, and the ability to work independently

Software Developer

Location: NSWCDD (Dahlgren, VA) on-site

Clearance: Required Secret-minimum

Tasking:

• Develop embedded software for new and existing systems.
• Develop and support Android applications using Kotlin.
• Develop and support Desktop applications using TBD
• Support testing and assessment of embedded systems locally and at external locations.
• Utilize software development best practices within government development processes.
• Identify and incorporate the latest hardware, technology, and techniques in this rapidly evolving environment.
• Routinely collaborate with the government team through regularly scheduled meetings onsite.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelors: Computer Science

Specialized Experience:

• Knowledge of C, Kotlin, or Java
• Knowledge of embedded software development for hardware is desired.
• Knowledge of hardware architectures, microcontrollers and communication protocols.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot hardware-software interfaces at a low-level using tools, such as an oscilloscope, logic analyzers, etc.
• Knowledge of writing test cases, unit testing and validation of hardware software integration
• Knowledge of Android/Desktop GUI development.
• Knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite, including network stack integration and socket programming.
• Knowledge in diagnosing and resolving network-related issues, including network configuration, connectivity, and data transmission problems
• Knowledge of Weapon Systems and Command & Control Systems.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing range/field environment with a focus on fielding a product.
• Ability to work with others to meet established goals and program schedules.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
