372 Operational Documentation Specialist
Location: NSWCDD Dahlgren, Va
Clearance Required: Secret
Mandatory Requirements
- Operational experience onboard SSN submarines
- Experience with Tomahawk employment while serving as FT2–FTCS
Key Responsibilities / Tasking
- Provide SSN Fleet Support
- Develop operating procedures for Fire Control Systems onboard SSN submarines supporting the SLCM-N weapons system
- Prepare and maintain:
- Programming documentation
- Systems operation documentation
- User documentation
- Translating business specifications into user documentation
- Plan, write, and maintain systems and user support documentation
- Apply standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to operational and technical documentation
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from an accredited college or university
- OR five (5) years of demonstrated knowledge and subject matter expertise in operational/technical documentation functions and applications
- OR U.S. Naval operational experience at the E4 level or higher
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge and understanding of:
- Documentation processes
- Strategic, combat, and/or weapon system equipment
- Targeting documentation
- Operational documentation
- Training documentation
- Minimum five (5) years of work-related experience demonstrated:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including: MS Outlook; MS Word; MS Excel; MS PowerPoint; MS Access; MS Project.

- Strong word processing and office administration skills
- Ability to prepare complex and detailed technical documents
Specialized Experience Requirements
- Six (6) years of concurrent specialized experience in three or more of the following areas:
- Operation of SLBM Fire Control Systems
- Operation of Tomahawk Weapons Control Systems
- Operating experience in SSBN Weapons Systems
- Direct fleet documentation support
