364 Configuration Management Support Specialist

Location: NSWCDD (Dahlgren, VA)

 Clearance: Required Secret

Tasking:

  • Prepare and distribute Computer Program Version Requests in ACCESS database for all Aegis/BMD ships/sites and serve as the element POC for Computer Program deliveries.
  • Generate CPCR, SWCR, TOR Reports/Metrics for Engineers for Aegis/Aegis BMD Baselines;
  • Assist in OTS, ClearQuest, SCRIBE Reviews/Artifacts (SCs, ICRs, A-Specs, etc.) by retrieving SCs/ICRs for engineers, applying CM processes, entering Technical QIRs into the appropriate database when needed and necessary
  • Track and submit new and current adaptation data versions for Aegis and Aegis BMD to Software Product Management (SPM) to be included in the Build Information Reports (BIR).
  • Perform peer reviews, desk audits, and track adaptation data delivered through the WEB-Based Common Adaptation Tool (WebCAT).
  • Attend Delivery Coordination meetings, Build Preparation Meetings, TOR Adjudication Meetings, Combat Systems Alignment Working Group Meetings, Adaptation, Data Code Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Detail Design Reviews for the Adaptation Data Tool Suite and review test artifacts.
  • Process transmittal requests for test equipment being shipped in support of events.
  • Support the SPY-6 program managing and distributing program data.
  • Utilize the program’s CM database and tools (SharePoint, Jira, and Microsoft Office) to track deliverables through all stages of receipt and delivery.
  • Maintain and update program calendars and schedules to include planned test events, reviews, technical meetings, and computer program deliveries.
  • Coordinate and execute the movement of data and material including transmittals, 1149s, and critical mission memos.
  • Upload/download of data from/to multiple networks or hard drives to facilitate the shipment and receipt of materials and media.
  • Pick-up and delivery of unclassified/classified materials from the mail room.
  • Support the program in the purchasing of materials and equipment, preparation of documentation (Quotes, purchase request forms, IPTRs, etc. and track the status of procurements.
  • Maintain the current database of GFE. (Physical and electronic inventory)
  • Produce and maintain SOPs for data management.

Education/Professional Certifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or
  • An Associate’s degree from an accredited college with one (1) year of demonstrated Configuration Management experience; or five (5) years demonstrated Configuration Management experience and demonstrated operation/test support experience.

Specialized Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office Suite software to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, project, Access and Outlook;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage configuration control of large software and hardware development efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to track and manage program deliverables and/or purchases through the use of automated systems;
  • Demonstrated ability to document Configuration Management process in standard operating procedures and develop processes for engineers to follow to ensure their compliance with program Configuration Management Processes and Procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate the shipping, receiving and tracking of test equipment;
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and lead the execution of integrating the land-based test sites into the Dahlgren Digital Proving Ground;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain program calendars and schedules, to include planned test events, reviews, technical meetings, and computer program deliveries;
  • Demonstrated ability assisting in the preparation of documentation required to support the purchase of materials and/or equipment;
