SDC is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst. Top Secret or Secret with SSBI security clearance required. The position is full-time/hybrid, 2-days days on base, 3-days work-from-home/remote. The position is temporary through March 2023 (with possible continued employment).
Job Description:
Package Documentation:
-
- Generate the package documentation based on the system path (PIT/DBS/IATT/etc.) This includes the A&A Plan, the Incident Response Plan, Configuration Management Plan, Patch Management Plan, Contingency Plan, etc.
- PPS Registration:
- Record and register PPSM with appropriate SME
- Generate the software list
- Generate the software list based on Security Center scans
- Look up the applicable software in DADMS and ensure it is associated to N00178 (Dahlgren) and the correct lab for the division
- Required STIGS
- Create the list of required STIGS based off the software scans
- Create the Test Plan
- Organize, Zip, and upload scans to eMASS
- Artifacts
- Upload all artifacts for package to eMASS. This will include the RAR, A&A Plan, supporting sub documents, waivers, etc.
- Associate all artifacts to their related security controls
- eMASS Mapping:
- Update the eMASS Implementation plan as required. Ensure all security controls are flagged correctly for status, add test results, add control vulnerability (if necessary), make comment, and push to Validator
- Update the eMASS POA&M based on results from scans and IA Control requirements. Ensure all open findings ae properly linked to the RAR artifact
- Complete One-to-One Match
- Complete One-to-One Match and Counts
- Across all of the documents, ensure that items match one-to-one (checks and balances)
- Review and retain the A&A weekly news you can use released by NAVSEA to ensure the Department is staying up-to-date on guidance.
- Update the A&A dashboard SharePoint site when there is a status change on the system package.
Required Education/Professional Certifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university;
- Per DoD Directive 8570.01-M or successor, this position requires IAM Level 2 or higher certification.
Required Qualification
- Eligible for IT Level-II designation under DoD Directive 8570.01M or its successor.
- A favorably adjudicated SSBI completed within the last 5 years.
Required Specialized Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience documenting and analyzing computer systems for control selection in EMASS;
- Demonstrated experience completing STIGs, SCAP scans, Nessus Vulnerability scans in support of RMF, PIT, and DoD Information Assurance
